Thanks!** A: How can it be 13.73 oz when the specs indicate the "Shipping Weight: 8.5 ounce?" **Q: Does it lock in place when you use it?** A: I could not get the kickstand to stay put. I even put tape underneath and had the bike shop tighten it down. Maybe my chain stays on my bike are narrower than the standard. The kickstand would constantly rotate and therefore wouldn’t hold the bike up. After a year of fumbling with it, I just took it off. Leaning my bike against a wall offers more support. It did not work for my bike. **Q: I have a 27 or 29 inch tire would this work on my patrol bike?** A: Yes I have a 29" Cannondale and it works on it ,it's the only one I could find that did.I have had to adjust it twice and it doesn't hold the bike up every well but it's better that laying my new bike in the dirt.
