Instructions are clear enough to understand and assemble. The UNO comes pre-programmed. So once you assemble it, you can start using it like a toy. App control is seamless. All default functions work well. I bought this for my 9 year old son as a gift for the holidays. This was my attempt to give him gifts would peak his interest enough to get him away from all the games and electric devices and this did the trick. At first when I first opened it I wondered if it was to much for him to assemble but boy was I worng. He enjoyed every moment of it and has not stopped using it. Its so much fun that everyone in the house is enjoying it. It was designed and packaged so well and the instuctions were very easy to follow. Love the care they took and the packaging was neat and well organized. In its default state its packed with features but the intro to Arduino IDE increases its value immensely making it possible to add more components, features and functionality.
