This is the best trap ever! So easy and safe to set! Bait is in a separate compartment so mouse goes in to get it and the weak spring loaded door pops up behind him and traps the mouse. So efficient! It's also clear so you can see if you got one. You then just take the whole very lightweight trap somewhere push the door open and he runs out in his new home area (far away) or in your neighbors yard :). If the spring loaded door clamped onto your finger by mistake you'd barely feel it. A kid could set and release the trap safely. As a bonus it's very inexpensive

These humane mouse traps worked the first night we put them out. Within hours of sunset we’d captured 2, honestly really sweet looking, tiny mice - one in each trap in two different location in our kitchen. We drove them a mile away to a forest, left a few nuts for them to get settled in their new home. I feel so much better not poisoning, torturing, killing and harming these innocents. May they live long, bountiful lives, just not in our home. The traps are an excellent design. We used peanut butter as recommended. I honestly couldn’t be happier with this effective, simple and humane trap. It works. We got two different brands of this design cause I wasn’t sure, but both worked the same.

Caught mouse the very first night! I used peanut butter and put it outside as bait and that worked perfectly. The size of the trap was a bit smaller than I expected and I was worried the mouse I was hunting for wouldn't fit, but there was no problem. This worked perfectly in capturing it, however I was not able to release it. It must have gotten to hot in there during the day and by the time I got home, unfortunately it had died. Otherwise the trap is very easy to use and safe around kids or pets.

Perfect! Worked within minutes! Put peanut butter inside, turned off the lights and within minutes, baby mouse inside unharmed. Was able to transport to woods nearby, easily lifted up back portion and out he went. Never had to come near the mouse with my hands but best, it was humane. No reason to kill a mouse when this is so easy, safe and quick to use!

it worked well - I picked this one even though it does not have any existing rating yet. I normally buy things that has higher customer ratings. The rating count also matters. The higher the better because it indicates more actual purchases. I bought this product basically sort of deviate from my usual practice. But what I did paid off because it caught a small mouse the first time I deployed it. Following are some pros and cons: [ Pros ]: (1) it is measured longer than the competing products. I believe the extra length does matter and will provide an extra level of certainty of trapping/catching. This is the main reason I chose this product against the other well established ones. (2) the trapping triggering mechanism is easy to work with and sensitive enough. [ Cons ]: (1) the bait-box/panel cannot be opened by hand despite the etched instruction. I had to use a thin blade (i am carrying a multi-tool at all time) to pry it upwards from the bottom seam. (2) once taken out, the bait-box does not have a bottom. once fill in the bait, you will need to turn the entire trap up side down, then push the bait-box into the position. Both above cons are easily overcome with little carefulness. I fully understand a product with this price point just cannot be made 100% perfect. So I am very very happy so far. I am giving it 5 points!

Pretty effective! I've caught mouse after mouse, at least 15 in a couple months. The only drawback is that it is hard to clean. Cleaning is very necessary because the caught mice pee and poop non-stop. You need to disassemble it entirely to clean it, but the snap-in components don't really seem ideally suited for disassembly. It can be tricky to pry the pieces apart, and I think the process of doing so might be wearing down the plastic. Then putting it back together is another challenge. I could eventually get down a good method to put it back together with practice, but at first I thought it might not even be possible.

Simple to use. Put the food like peanut butter in the area of the trap as indicated. Place the trap in the place of known traffic, at night will catch them within an hour or two once their active. Completely reusable and the mouse and be transported to another location.

EXCELLENT PRODUCT, I HAD DEEP GOLF BALL SIZED HOLES IN GARDEN, SO SUSPECTED SOMETHING SMALL. I BOUGHT THESE, BAITED WITH CHEESE, AND CAUGHT 2 FIELD MICE OVERNIGHT. I THEN CAUGHT 1 MORE NEXT NIGHT. EASY TO LET GO, USING THE BACK DOOR. THE NEXT NIGHT ONE TRAP HAD TRIPPED, DOOR WAS SHUT, AND BAIT HAD GONE. TRAP WAS EMPTY, BUT I NOTICED THE BACK DOOR, (WHICH SLIDES DOWN IN RUNNERS), WAS RAISED ABOUT HALF AN INCH, SO THIS ONE HAD ESCAPED. I HAVE NOW RESET THE TRAP, BUT USED A SMALL ELASTIC BAND TO HOLD BACK DOOR IN PLACE. STILL WORTH THE MONEY IN MY OPINION, AND EASY TO USE AND CLEAN.

Absolutely brilliant. Mouse took the bait and got trapped in cage. It was released in the woods so didn't take it's life.
