First released in 1981, Tortex Picks were originally intended to be a high quality replacement for tortoiseshell. **Q: Can i use these on my electric guii?**
A: Picks are a personal choice as to size, thickness, shape, material, feel, and, other factors.  These can certainly be used with any guitar.  There are "variety packs" out there that you could try to see what particular pick you like the best but there is no reason to not use these with an electric.
