Worth it
I bought this tool because my old 1.5mm snapped and I need something asap. I was plesantly surprised how much I liked this tool. It came ready to use and very sharp. Because two sides of the handle are flat it doesn't roll very far when I put it down quickly. Plus the grip is surprisingly comefortable, I could go for hours and my hand wouldn't hurt. My only gripe was that it dulls faster than more expensive tools, but I also carve into MDF board, so it will probably hold up longer against lino cuts. All in all a good purchase and will probably buy again.

Great V-Gouge for less than $10
The gouge is exactly as pictured. The tip angle is the same. If you don't like it, regrind it. For $7, I'm very happy. These tiny tools are not made for heavy duty wood removal. If you take light cuts, this should last for a very long time. It came razor sharp and sharpens right back to razor sharp. The temper is maybe a bit soft, but did I mention... it cost $7.

Nice tool
Bought to use for stippling grips and creating a border. Works ok but did figure a better process for the task. Wear a glove on your off hand for protection

These are worth every penny! What a great tool
I started off carving wood, but have transitioned to mainly linocuts. Over the years i heard so many good things about power grip, but never actually needed anything this small. I decided to purchase the ones i need as singles, and the 1.5mm small v was the first purchase. The value is great, 7 dollars is cheap for the quality. They feel great in hand, so easy to use makes doing details much better

A good quality tool for detail wood carving!
A Japanese brand! After World War Two Japan decided to make Quality produces; they would not compromise on quality. The best wood carving tools are made there. You can buy one at a time or get the whole set. This chisel is very good for close-up detail.

Handles tough linoleum like BUDDUH.
I. LOVE. THIS. CHISEL. It handles even the oldest hardest linoleum with buttery smoothness. It's great for detail work, and it's easily one of my favorite tools, especially for the price!
