My husband checked the motor brushes and they had completely worn down over the years, so we decided to buy these replacements and see if we could get it going again. They were easy enough to fit and my washing machine is now working again, so for £6.99 for these brushes, it's a lot cheaper than having to buy a new washing machine! Not sure how long they will last, but they're working fine at the moment. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Watch which way the bevelled edge comes out - so remove slowly. *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 26 December 2025* These are great and fitted Bosch excel 7 perfectly. I'd tried resetting the code (you tube video) without fitting new brushes at first but nada so ordered these. Removing and fitting the old brushes is easy enough with a bit of reasoning. you push the fat end of the tab in until the small slots align and then lift up. it's a bit metal puzzle type fiddly but be patient and don't force them. Super important is to note which way the taper on the old brushes comes out so be mindful to watch closely and remove them slowly to watch for this or the spring will pull out and twist and you won't be sure. Not the end of the world if you get it wrong but it will be noisy until the new brushes be in and not fantastic for the armature which might arc a bit if they go in the wrong way. pop it on a spin to bed the new ones in. If you change spark plugs and lightbulbs and liked Meccano when you were little you've got this. Obviously unplug and watch a few videos first. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Machine saver *by on Reviewed in the United Kingdom 20 August 2026* "With the benefit of Utube video these were replaced and the washing machine has a new lease of life. Please note on initial use after fitting the washer motor made unhealthy noises but these were ignored as "bedding in pains" Quite correctly. The machine is now in top fettle and good vfor another 14 years, with luck. ## Frequently Bought Together - for 2 x BOSCH WASHING MACHINE Classixx 6 Exxcel 7 1400 MOTOR CARBON BRUSHES - LAZER ELECTRICS Motor Carbon Brushes Pair for Bosch WAE, WAS, WFB, WFC, WFD, WFO, WFR Series Washing Machines - 154740, 00154740 - 2X Laminated Carbon Brush Replacement Part Compatible with Bosch Siemens Washing Machine Motor Part number: 00605694 605694 --- ## Why Shop on Desertcart? - 🛒 **Trusted by 1.3+ Million Shoppers** — Serving international shoppers since 2016 - 🌍 **Shop Globally** — Access 737+ million products across 21 categories - 💰 **No Hidden Fees** — All customs, duties, and taxes included in the price - 🔄 **15-Day Free Returns** — Hassle-free returns (30 days for PRO members) - 🔒 **Secure Payments** — Trusted payment options with buyer protection - ⭐ **TrustPilot Rated 4.5/5** — Based on 8,000+ happy customer reviews **Shop now:** [https://www.desertcart.in/products/132042703-for-2-x-bosch-washing-machine-classixx-6-exxcel-7](https://www.desertcart.in/products/132042703-for-2-x-bosch-washing-machine-classixx-6-exxcel-7) --- *Product available on Desertcart India* *Store origin: IN* *Last updated: 2026-11-04*
