The FL-CB05 is a generic cable that fits any flash bracket and flash. It is a hot shoe to hot shoe cable and both will allow TTL metering anf full flash control. **Q: can this be used for Olympus omd em-5?** A: Hi,Yes, in the way that the camera will send out the correct signal to the flash grip FP-1, using the cameras shutter release button or a remote cable RM-UC1. The problem is that the shutter release button on the flash grip does not work. For that to work you need a modified RG-1, which was used on older cameras. It does work well enough and seems to be built well except that it has to be used with the special Olympus FL-BK01 Bracket which also in my opiniom is way overpriced (100.00) considering it's low quality with texture tape peeling off it/glue sticking to users hand after use.
