The TL-12 is designed to sound great when it's plugged in to an amp, PA, or recording rig. Thin body means it's easy to handle when performing, especially if you're singing too. **Q: Is the preamp the tl-3 or tl-6 on the steel string natural?** A: The preamp on my nylon strings guitar is tl-3. **Q: Does this have a solid body underneath the strings to possibly accommodate electric pick ups? Obviously I would have to do some major modifications** A: It is listed as an acoustic/electric so it already has a pickup. The body is not completely hollow like a traditional acoustic. **Q: What brand/guage does it comes?** A: They were putting these on, But manufacturers change from time to time, Just use what you like. It’s been a game changer in every aspect. It’s so comfortable to play I find it difficult to explain. I have a dozen or so other guitars which I’ve decided to sell because I just can’t see myself ever wanting to play them anymore. This is the guitar I wish I had from the start. But there wasn’t anything like this back then. It is so easy and comfortable to play it’s mind boggling. ESP created a virtual masterpiece with this one. I finally got the actual case for it this Christmas and it is worth every penny as well. For me, so far this is the only guitar I’ll ever need and I am a seasoned professional. This is the perfect balance between classical and modern.
