WIRED IR REPEATER WORKED as EXPECTED for FRACTION of PRICE
Worked just as advertised and replaced my clunky old pyramid transmitter/receivers for a fraction of the price. However, the stickum on the ends that adhere to the VHS or CD receivers is weak. You may have to add some adhesive or just tape them in place. As far as conveying the signal from your remote it's GREAT.

I had to replace my old IR repeater and found that these have much better reception. I can point my remote any where in the room and this repeater works.

Great product
These are a great solution for controlling audio devices that do not have a direct line on sight to the seating position. I have components that are blocked by a loudspeaker when sitting in the sweet spot. These solved the problem.

Work well, just tape them in place
Work well, but if slightly moved, they stop working. Recommend you tape them in place so they don’t move. But, they do work!

Works with Yamaha ir in jack
Finally a simple and inexpensive solution for my Yamaha RXV2600 remote in jack. I didn’t use the emiter, just plugged a male-male 3.5mm cable

Dead on arrival power adapter dead, did not “repeat” total trash. Buy anything else.

Works like it says, just find a better way to mount/stick it.....
I put HDMI switches behind a cabinet with LED working for my modern/classic video game consoles. I was looking for a way to extend the IR control so I can hide the devices. This worked like a charm, mounted the front part, and put the "eyes" on each device. No more worry about IR control, it worked great. The big problem is the sticky stuff on it completely is bad. Everything fell off within a few minutes after mounting. These were cleaned services as well, still, just feel off. On the big eye, the sticky part didn't fall off, the eye itself and the sticky part was still on my cab. What a PIA. I really would give this device a 5 star if things just stayed. It does work, the IR part works perfect, just need a better way to mount it. I used tape on "hidden" devices, and the part on the front that just feel off, I just glued it on the sticky part and taped it for a while to hold it while the glue dries.... Still such a good item that is wrecked by poor mounting...

Works great even if not attached to devices.
Comes with everything you need. Even a USB power plug, which wasn't in the pictures. I really didn't want to stick it onto my gear, which would interfere with moving things around, so I just dangle it in front of the receptor spot and it works fine. I was going to fashion some sort of little stand to stick it on, but found it wasn't even needed during my testing. I wish the receiver didn't have the glaring green LED, which basically must be in line of sight, but it's not enough to knock off a star. I might cover it with a piece of electrical tape if it becomes too annoying. Note the four emitters come in two pairs with just a short section of wire where they're separated. You just have to peel them apart as needed to reach different components.
