I have never noticed any smell or taste just from taking them. **Q: Are your products tested on animals or are they cruelty-free?** A: This product is made from bovine gelatin so I’d say no not cruelty free. I’m bummed because it used to be vegetarian and they changed it. **Q: What is the calorie content of these pills?** A: I looked on the bottle and it didn't say. I checked about 10 supplements and only two had caloric information.
