Review: Decent basic set - We needed a set of basic tools for use around the office. I had bought this kit before as a gift for a friend who'd just moved back to the US and was just getting on his feet again. These aren't tools you'll want to use in the garage every day, and you shouldn't plan your new handyman business around them, but for quick simple every day tasks, they're just fine and it's a reasonably complete collection. The drill bits seemed like an odd inclusion, but for $30 or so you can pick up a decent little cordless drill and put them to good use. Update: The ratchet broke the first time it was (lightly) used. Deducted one star for that.

We needed a set of basic tools for use around the office. I had bought this kit before as a gift for a friend who'd just moved back to the US and was just getting on his feet again.
