A friend of mine bought this texture wand a little while ago, and says she received free gifts with hers - a bottle of Cloud Nine magical potion that gives heat protection, and tames frizz, and a Cloud Nine water bottle. Unfortunately no free gifts in this box, so it must have been a limited offer. No worries, we have plenty of heat protection sprays, frizz control sprays, and a cupboard full of reusable bottles!! First thing anybody looking at this item is going to notice is the price. It is very expensive, especially when you subsequently look at some of the cheap Chinese imports you can buy for far less money. However, this is a real quality item, coming in an impressive black box containing the texture wand, inside a classy zipped, heat resistant case, a good quality heat glove, and instructions. This product is designed primarily for use on curly hair, and has a range of three selectable temperatures (125, 150 and 175C). The barrel is made from ceramic, and infused with minerals that retain the moisture in your hair, and leave it looking much shinier as a result. It also helps protect your hair from heat damage, and seems to deal with flyaway, frizzy strands very effectively. My partner purchased a similar, but cheaper product a couple of years ago, and has always been pleased with it, but she says the Cloud Nine Texture Wand is in a totally different league altogether, and she thinks the price is absolutely justified. She says it has left her hair looking better, and feeling in better condition than after a trip to a salon, where they usually use the best equipment on clients hair. The wand heats up really quickly, has a swivel cord, and a safety cut off that activates after 30 minutes of inactivity. The lovely storage bag is the icing on the cake as far as she is concerned, and her old wand is now in the bin. She is very particular about her hair, so I think you can take that as a hearty endorsement of this product. 5 Stars, and well worth paying the extra for.

Sometimes you pay more and are disappointed, but with this brand and it’s products that is never the case, although quite expensive this is hands down the best curling wand I own and have ever used, I also have the straighteners that are just as brilliant. Everything about these just blows others out of the water, the build quality, the features and the results. Hands down the best.

Excellent, good value for the money,

Very nice and durable packaging. Everything is done at the highest level! This is just a miracle, not a curling iron! The curling iron heats up in seconds. The heating range of degrees starts from 75 degrees. Hair after use really looks very well-groomed and beautiful, it shines and becomes very soft. The curling iron does not burn the hair and I think this is very important. I love curls so much. For ease of use, so as not to burn your hands, a glove is included. Just a wonderful set. I advise everyone!

Cloud nine wand has an auto setting & 3 heat settings low (125), medium (150) & high (170), tapered ceramic barrel which give you the choice of curls you want, along with the LED display on the handle. The cloud nine wand comes with a luxury heat resistant carry case & a heat resistant glove for on the go & travelling, wand will automatically shut off after 30 minutes of non use. The amazing swivel cord so it’s easy to style your hair without being tangled in the cable. I have thick hair but short so it didn’t take to long to do my hair with the length. I will confess not heard of Cloud 9 before but checking the product they looked to have a very similar look to products I owned by the Company beginning with G and ending with D. Abit looking further into the company would explain things as it looks like founders of said company started up Cloud 9! Item arrived very well packed and as expected of a premium product. The lid slips right off and inside your presented with a lovely bag. Inside the bag is the texture wand itself wrapped up and underneath is a manual and heat resistant glove also wrapped up. The manual is multilingual and I will add the manual and "About this item" on Amazon's page lists this as the Mini-Wand but seems they are changing it to the texture wand now. The wand itself feels really well made. It uses a UK plug right out the bag and the cable connecting to the wand is a swivel type cable which means can manipulate the wand without getting the cable criss crossed. The wand itself has a power button and ability to change the temperature. In terms of turning on it takes about 30 - 45 seconds to heat up. There is only three temperatures available, 125, 150 and 175 degrees. The wand can turn off after 30 mins of not being used itself. Now how does it actually work? very lovely! I have fairly thick hair which is naturally wavy and frizzy. For use I will apply my heat protection spray, let is soak in for a bit then get this wand fired up. As I have thicker hair I opted for 150 degrees initially before settling on 175 degrees. If you have thinner hair, go on the lower side. Once the wand was ready away I went! I do have slightly longer hair so it did take some time, but quicker then expected as my hair effortlessly glided over the barrels. The end result is I managed to get some lovely waves to my hair giving it a slight bounce and getting rid of the frizz! I locked it in with a light spattering of hair spray and went about my day. the bounce lasted most of the day with no issue, though truth be told, this is not uncommon and I think my hair type naturally being inclined towards waves in its relaxed state helped. Overall the wand does what you expect. It feels well made, looks the part and presentation is top tier. For my hair type and look I am after it ticks the box perfectly so bravo. Only slight caveat is its expensive truth be told at £110 as of writing I have got similar experiences from other brands higher end models though priced less then this. That said I took a gamble with there ones, not so much here.

This is rather special but can a styler like this really be worth £109? I’m certainly delighted to have it and love using it. It arrived very attractively presented, to the same sort of standard as you’d expect of an Apple product. The wand comes in a high-quality black zip bag, complete with heat-resistant glove. The bag is packed in an equally high-quality black & gold box. It would make a lovely gift. The bag is described as heat-resistant but you wouldn’t want to pack a hot wand in there or it would melt the cable. The instructions are well-written and operation is straightforward. Switch it on and it starts in Auto mode. It heats quickly to ‘Medium’ (150C) and the indicator light turns green. You can change it to High (175) or Low (125) at any point. If you want it to start in Low or High every time, you can switch to Manual mode and choose your required setting; it will then remember the chosen setting every time it starts. It has the obligatory swivel cord connector. There’s also a welcome built-in stand that enables you to put it down safely after use. Does it work well? Oh yes. It's a pleasure to use and the claims in the description don't seem exaggerated. Is it worth the money? Probably. Just as with, say, a Dyson hair dryer, it’s the sort of thing I’d love to receive as a gift, but I’m not sure I’d buy it for myself. It’s good, very good, but not three times as good as a £35 wand.
