Great bang for your buck!
For the price, you really can't go wrong with this case. It has practically everything you could ask for and then some. I was looking for a good, rather inexpensive case for a new build and settled on the Thermaltake V31 after reading all the reviews and watching several reviews on Youtube. I liked what a saw, a lot. This was probably the easiest case I've ever used for easy cable management. There are cut outs and grommets just about everywhere. Routing cables was never easier with the V31 and I ended up with a very tidy build. I opted to give water cooling a try for the first time and it was easier than expected. With the radiator installed at the back of the case, there's plenty of room to use a regular case fan directly above it. On some cases, there's not enough room to do this. I particularly like the magnetic air filter on top of the case. What a great idea! I'm also glad there's room for two drive bays in front of the case. I always like to have an optical drive and card reader on my computers. I'm trying to think of some negatives but they are few and far between. The plastic window on the side seems a little fragile so I recommend using caution and not bump it and get it scratched. There were a few remarks about cheap thumbscrews.. but they seem to be fine and do what they're supposed to. The included screws didn't seem to be the right thread for the standoffs so I used some that I had left over from previous builds. I didn't want to strip anything or damage the mobo when attaching it to the case. The mesh design on the front of the case is very classy-looking and I like it. If you like fans, there's room for a ton of them and then some! I really think Thermaltake gives you a lot for your money in this under $100 case, so I'm extremely satisfied.

Great Airflow
Great case. I used this as on a recent build using an i7-6700k processor, 32GB DDR4-2400 MHz Skillz Ripjaws RAM, M2 format 240GB Kingston HyperX Predator SSD as primary drive, 2x Western Digital 3TB media drives in RAID 0, MSI Nvidia GeForce 970 GTX graphics card, and Corsair H100i GTX liquid cooling system. Using the built-in overclocking 'tweaker', the processor overclocks by 15% and the RAM overclocks to 2500 MHz. This board is a beast and makes the whole Windows 10 PC scream. Benchmark test using Performance Test 8.0 come in overall at 6620 - which is five stars in every rated category. From off to Windows loaded is 8 seconds (minus the three second POST delay built in). The airflow of this case is a direct contributor to my processor staying a cool 35 degrees Celsius - well below the 50 degree operating temperature in the manuals. The case is large enough to mount the liquid cooling system in the front vertically, or on the top horizontally depending on your preference. The case is also large enough and pre-drilled for an ATX sized MOBO, although I opted for a mATX format ASUS RoG MAXIMUS VIII GENIE MoBo. With the wire mesh style case on the top, front and back, you can mount cooling fans in a wide variety of locations to maximize your airflow.

Pretty great case for the price, with some flaws...
Well, I bought this case around 2 years ago, to build a gaming PC for my wife. (Yes, my wife is a gamer like me ^_^) and all around its a great case for the price. I think we got it on a great sale too. Something like $35 at the time, which was a total steal for a case of this build quality. The top was easily able to fit a Thermaltake water 3.0 cooling system with a 360mm radiator, with room to spare! Good clearance. The front panel can fit up to 2x 140mm fans or radiator. A 120mm in the rear and 2x 120mm on the bottom. Definitely good airflow and several options for liquid cooling applications. My biggest gripe with the case is dust control. The magnetic dust screen used on top is perfect! I wish the rest of the dust screens on the case were the same as that one! The bottom screen is just a rectangular, bracketless screen that slides into a few grooves. Dust easily slips through the exposed gaps around the edges of the screen. If they got rid of the grooves and used a magnetic bordered screen like the one at the top of the case, it would resolve that issue. Also, I really don't care for the screen used on the front bezel either. Rather than a nice, fine mesh screen, like what's used on the top, they chose to use a rigid steel mesh with larger holes. So smaller dust particles pass through the mesh, and larger particles get stuck between the larger holes on the bezel and the mesh screen. It makes the front of the case always look dusty! (I hate dust!) Even our brush attachment on our vacuum cant get the dust out of those gaps without having to remove the entire front bezel and separate the steel mesh from it. It really gets caked up, which hinders airflow. Speaking of brush attachment, that leads me to my next issue. The acrylic window on the side panel. It scratches VERY easily. I found this out the hard way when I was vacuuming the case one day. We lay it on its side with the window faced up. So dust collects on the surface over time. While vacuuming the screens, I lightly went over the window with our brush attachment and now the entire window is a scratched up eyesore from it! My Pc is in an older Corsair 650D case and I've used the brush on it many times over the years and it never roughed up the surface like this! I know many consumers have complained over the years about how easily acrylic windows scratch up. Some manufacturers have improved the quality of their window panels. Perhaps newer Thermaltake cases have as well. This is another reason why tempered glass windows are becoming so popular nowadays. All in all, it is a good deal for the money. Ive inspected several cases from other companies that cost 10-25$ more than this one, and were of a lesser quality and had more design flaws than the V31. Some of Thermaltake's newer cases are looking more appealing to me and I'm thinking about upgrading. Still a fan of their products.

Best case anywhere near this price point.
I was pleasantly surprised at the overall quality and features of this. I did some research on this before I decided to buy it, but i wasn't quite expecting it to be this good. The cable management is fantastic with plenty of room behind the motherboard to route cables. Plus, there are nice rubber grommets where the cables come out of. Being able to move the drive cage is a great feature to have, especially at this price point. I was able to put a Sapphire 390X Tri-X GPU without having to move the cage, but the option is still there. Being able to put two 2.5inch drives on the side side of the case, behind the board, was a great option to have to further help with having a nice clean case. I can honestly say this is the best case I've ever purchased anywhere near this price point. If you're against the wall, just pull the trigger. You won't be disappointed.

Poor Customer Service, Refused Warranty
The external power button is poorly designed. It is a piece of plastic screwed the front face which presses the button that is wired to the motherboard. The lack of mechanical action caused the part attached to front panel of the external button to fatigue and break. I now have a case that will only work with the the front panel off and a refusal of warranty service since this is not classed as a defect.

Low quality / front panel gap.
Good ventilation and versatile. The product was well packaged and had MORE than enough screws. I really like the addition room Thermaltake gave for the wiring, and spots to put a SSD outside of the main case. Unfortunately, my case had a quality issue I did not see until after my built. Note the obvious gap in the front panel seen in my picture. My guess is the plastic ball latch on the front panel (that you push in to the main case body) has a quality issue. I would expect it to fit snug like ALL the other sections on the front - the only issue is the top right. I've not been able to get a response from Thermaltake so I'm giving a disappointing 2 stars.

Cheap Material
Some of the clips broke during shipping because the material is just so cheap and fragile. I still think it's a great budget case though. Well worth the money.

Good Mid grade case for the price
Used this for a build for a friend. Had ample space for a water cooling radiator on the top, good air flow, plenty of space for cable management. Had three pull out drive bays that fit 2.5” and 3.5” drives (you have to mount 2.5” on the bottom with screws). Also has two 2.5” cages in the back that you can also fit drives into. Two 5.25” toolless drive bays were easy to get the DVD drive into. Is large enough to fit most graphics cards. Stock fans are ok, not too loud but nothing to write home about. My only grips would be lack of air filter on the front and could use some more usb ports on the front as well. Overall would highly recommend this for a mid range build.

Awesome case
Good looking well made case. My only issue is with the power button, it is hard to see until you turn it on. I will try to put a white circle on it to make it stand out better.

exelente case

Good deal when on sale
This case is way better than the ones my wife and I are using. Very happy with this purchase. Only complaint is that the tool-less screws on the back of the side panels are shotty. I feel like they may be stripped after several uses. So far they have held up fine.
