I know the product worked well to get pool dust off the felt and bumpers which is what I purchased it for… **Q: Will this Remove chalk** A: Nothing is fool proof, the newer the stain the easier to remove, but this should remove chalk. **Q: Will this help with smoke smell?** A: It is made to treat stains on the cloth, but I'm unsure about a smoke smell. **Q: We sprayed this on a few spots and it left large rings like water stains but chemical stains. We can't get them out. Anybody got a solution to this?** A: Many cloth fabrics will do this, especially any in the micro-fiber class. The solution is simple. Never "spot" clean, always dampen the entire surface so there is no "Edge" to leave a ring. Spray this on, you can see it lift the stain. Wipe it off. The most stubborn stain (it was a bad one) is not entirely gone but is 75% better. All lesser stains disappeared. Wow! I had gotten it to try and remove a couple of stains, which it didn't perform as well on. In fact, it made the coffee stain more noticeable, and I had doubted that it would do anything on the 4 stroke engine oil, which I was correct about. The rest of the table did look brighter and cleaner though. I just think that I presented it with challenges it wasn't intended for. If you have a dusty/dirty table, I'd recommend this. If you want to remove tougher stains, then you'll just have to try it and see. At less than $20, you don't have too much to lose.
