I wanted something that would for my back-country trips but still suitable for charging down resort slopes, too. I'd flirted with switching to telemark but in the end couldn't commit to it, knowing when I'd hit steeps or icy conditions I'd switch back. But having done some nordic touring, too, I loathed the idea of covering ground in stiff alpine bootsSo, the Terminator X ended up being the best of both worlds. Dynafit bindings + bellows for more efficient and comfortable skinning + sturdy shell for support on the down. Great Intuition liners and Vibram soles.
