I've never changed a screen before and it's not that difficult. I skimmed through a YouTube video and it's honestly not as difficult as others have mentioned here. You just have to get the adhesive soft enough to lose contact with the broken glass screen. I used my wife's hairdryer on the host seeing with the lowest fan speed and the screen came off without much effort as well as the strip residue.The description mentions that the adhesive strips are not included, so I purchased a separate roll, but on the package I received precut strips (picture included).I'm glad it was included and it allowed for resting the screen in place in order to test it. Upon testing, everything seems to be writing fine and I went ahead and compete the installation. The screen is wonderful.My only concern is that the screen that I received had paint chipping coming off (picture included). And I'm unsure if that's from their testing, but the wires seem to be ok, not bent or exposed.I hope I don't need to purchase again, but I would definitely recommend and purchase again if needed. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Finally, one that works and wasn't already cracked. *by C***. on Reviewed in the United States on January 9, 2020* Very well packaged. You could have thrown this out of a 5 story building and I doubt anything would happen to the screen. I've tried a few others which arrived cracked or didn't work. So far (a few days in) and this screen works flawlessly.Beware: comes with no adhesive or tools so you'll need to purchase that on your own.I recommend watching a few youtube videos before trying to replace. It's not difficult however the edge of these screens is VERY delicate. If you have any dents in your surface pro make sure you straighten those out first so the glass has no issue seating in place. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Great replacement! *by G***R on Reviewed in the United States on February 17, 2020* I accidentally damaged one of the ribbons on my screen while trying to replace my surface's battery. While the computer worked, the touch feature did not work. I ordered this one in hopes it would make my computer fully work again. The touch feature worked in half of the screen, but after uninstalling the touch driver and restarting my computer, everything worked perfectly fine! My computer is fully functional now!
