Fix-It Tool Box Toy

Our 16 month old grandchild is JUST getting to the age to really use this toy. She can push the screws through the holes and she likes to play with the wooden pieces and hold and carry the little tools. She’s a bit too little to actually use the tools and combine the wooden pieces but we are sure she will love doing this as she gets older. She loves carrying the tool box full of pieces.

Great toy and built of wood however recommended for age 2 to 4 and not really anyone younger.

I was picking between this set from Hape and the one from Melissa and Doug. If you pay attention, Melissa and Doug hammer has sharp corners ( if your child will be too into his game , he might accidentally hurt his own face :/). Thus, I went for this one and I don’t regret- quality is awesome, it is pretty sturdy and took a beating from my son without falling apart. You can see some scuffs on the photos- my son spent a lot of time “hammering” and that’s the impact. Looks good, IMO. The packaging box is good for a gift, pretty big and holds shape. Definitely recommend as long as it is under 20$ range. ( I was waiting for promotion and got it at around 16$).

I bought this for my son’s first birthday and he loves it, I mean he LOVES it. It’s a great gift and I’d recommend it. However, the screwdriver tip came apart from the handle within a week with normal play. It’s just held together with glue. I will have to reglue it which is a pain. But the other parts are all great quality. I’d still recommend as it’s a fan favorite in our house.

I love a good wooden toy and this is no exception! I bought it for my two year old and although he can’t assemble everything alone, he has fun with the tools. It’s lightweight and great for ages 2+. It’s cute and made a great little gift!

After watching his dad and me put together his new toddler bed, my son got super excited over “helping” to fix things, but of course letting him use real metal tools wasn’t something I wanted to do just yet...so I was trying to choose between a plastic set of tools that were cartoonish styled, and this wooden set that was a little more expensive. I am soooo glad I got this set instead! It’s not been out of the box more than 30 minutes, and he has learned how to hammer in “nails”, take them out again with the back of the hammer, use a wrench And screw driver in tandem to work a “screw” and “bolt”, as well as put gears on the side of the kit so that they spin each other. The tools are all very well made but not heavy, so there’s no fear of him breaking stuff if he decides to run around hammering things.

It’s cute, it’s super functional (the screw drivers fit into the screws, the hammer can remove the “nails”, etc. ). Our 15 month old was interested in our real tools, and this was a perfect addition to his toy set to continue nursing his curiosity about household items while keeping him safe. I think the price is reasonable and it fits well on our shelves so it’s easy to store! I love Hape!

Great toy, lots of interactive parts. My son loves playing with it and it's great and sturdy. Good bright colours and value for money.

Es una caja bonita con todos los accesorios de madera a la excepción de las tuercas. En la caja se puede poner tuercas, tornillos, etc. Trae pocas cosas pero lo que se especifica en el anuncio pero para empezar a jugar de sobras y si gusta se le pueden comprar más piezas a parte. Recomiendo el producto porque tras varios meses de uso por mi hijo de 2 años y medio resiste perfectamente y todo está como el primer día.

I got the 17pc Fix-It Tool Box for my grandson, and it’s been a hit! He loves playing with the colourful tools and pretending to be a little handyman. The quality is excellent, and the pieces are the perfect size for his small hands. I highly recommend this set for any child who loves to tinker and create!

The tools are smooth and safe for toddlers. My little boy enjoys playing with it especially the cute hammer.
