I had it outside on my deck and it is so bright and , left it outside in a terrible thunderstorm with tons of rain. And the next day it worked perfectly. I use it as a decerative light and plan to buy more, It will work super if we have a black out which we do occassionally .works way better then the solar power lights that I have been buying for my yard , ( the balls on stiicks which fall over and break and usually one out of three done't work any way.
