THIS post, however, he finally scratches! I have had to tape all the corners of my furniture before, but thankfully I finally found a post that he will scratch. He played with the ball on top of it immediately when I showed it to him, and that is what initiated the scratching I believe, though now he does not play with the ball much at all. She uses it so much she has shredded two of these over the past few years and I've replaced them. The only drawback is the product isn't very heavy so it can tump over easily. Suggest putting it in a corner - seems to stay upright better when tucked in a corner. He’s a large rag doll and we needed something a little taller than normal and this worked out well!Assembly was slightly annoying as the base is split in half and held together by a thin veneer so when you go to screw in the post it doesn’t want to stay together.
