## Description

The 847 Carbon Conductive Assembly Paste is an electrically conductive, non-bleeding grease for improving electrical connections between non-moving surfaces and parts. It inhibits corrosion, is economical, has a wide operating temperature range, long service life, and does not contain silicone. The conductive paste performance depends on mainly on surface preparation. Improperly prepared contact surfaces can degrade the paste’s stability, conductivity, and lubrication characteristics. While the thickness and coverage are also important, the application method itself can easily be adjusted according to performance and application needs. 5 year shelf life. 40 to 104 degree F storage temperature limits. -49 to 347 degree F service temperature. 410 degree F maximum withstand temperature.

**Q: Does it dry?**
A: No

**Q: where is this made?**
A: MG Chemicals is a company based out of Canada which distributes internationally. They have facilities in BC and ON.

**Q: I have a two-stroke motor with arcing between spark plug wires from coil and tip of plug. Will this reduce arcing if applied to the tips of the plugs?**
A: I had this problem in 1970 with my Yamaha 350 two-stroke.  I replaced the factory (OEM) spark plug caps with Sparky Plug Caps and the problem went away.  

Sparky Plug Caps are still being sold.  They're inexpensive and will almost certainly cure your problem.

**Q: how is the viscosity? can i push this through a 18GA syringe needle?**
A: You might if the body of the syringe is heavy plastic or metal.  Otherwise it might just burst. The viscosity is a heavy paste. (IE, lithium grease, tar, heavy silicone caulking, RTV gasket material, etc).  For intricate and tiny connections, I just use a needle or a fine pin and dab it on with the tip.
