DR Strings DDT Electric Guitar Strings feature patented Accurate Core Technologyโข with a coated hexagonal core wire that locks the nickel-plated steel wrap in place, delivering exceptional tuning stability and intonation at any tension. Designed specifically for drop down tunings (10-60 gauge), these strings provide clean, clear notes with minimal adjustment, making them ideal for professional players seeking reliable performance in lower tunings.

DDT's did not fail
I've played baritone guitar for 8 years now and as anyone who likes heavy gauge strings knows it's a pain to find a decent pack with an .60g or larger. These strings blew my mind. clear and defined even at my drop A and drop G tunings!!! I am used to going as far as a .72 to try to retain some clarity but these .60 were excellent balance between tension and bend. Many baritone strings often suffer from a lack of livelyness when playing fast or digging in, these strings felt alive and this might sound silly but more 3 dimentional. i was doubly shocked when tremolo picking that I didnt suffer from the usual detuned "flub" that seems to cripple baritone gauges. I can't recomend these strings enough, i havent had this much fun playing in a long time, it's like i had a heavy blanket over my speakers before. My only gripe is that the 4th string isn't wound, but that's minor. I already ordered the mega heavy pack (.65) and plan to re-order these as well.

Perfect for drop tuning
I use these on my guitar tuned to drop c, they do not turn into rubber bands. They sound great and last longer than most brands I have used. I will definitely keep using this brand.

DR's are the way to go!!!
Huge fan of DR's. I sweat quite a bit when I play, and suffered through Ernie Ball's and others for years. DR goes the distance and will keep their brightness with a little maint. After playing. Out of 50 or so packs, I may have had one bum string that came unwound out of the pack. All of the DR electrics are a safe bet.

Excellent quality strings
Arrived quickly! Excellent quality strings. Highly recommended. I've played DR for years and the brightness of these strings is awesome. I change strings about once every two months even when gigging frequently or recording and have never broken a string. They also are great on the Floyd Rose tremolo and standard bridge configurations.

DR tops themselves
Wow. I love DR strings and I usually use the the Jazz (12 - 52). I don't play to drop D but just a half-step down in standard E. I love thick strings. I thought Jazz were the thickest, but these things are beasts. Fully recommend if you like fat strings and deep, smooth tone.

horrible junk!!!
i dont usually write reviews but i felt i had to on this..... just fyi ive been playing guitar for about 20yrs... that being said, once receiving these strings i changed my old ones right away which were about 4mo old and been played hard. once i opened the new DR strings they looked nice and new except the first 3 unwound strings, they looked dingy and the high E had nicks in them. having had strings that looked similar with nicks in them before n worked well regaurdlless i went ahead with the switch.. once changed and tuned they instantly muddied my tone. ive never had strings muddy a tone so bad, even switching to old used worn out strings these DR strings were worse! and it didnt stop there. withing 2 hours of standard playing it kept falling out of tune. unlike the description states. i couldnt get through a 2 minute song without constantly having to retune. which new strings do require a bit of adjusting to fully stretch n stay in tune but these were hopless. and to top it all off i was in the middle of trying to play a song n the B string snapped. so i replaced it with my old one and continued playing after re-tuning everything. and not 5 minutes later the low E snapped on me!!! sooo yeah i ripped all those new strings off n headed to the shop and got me a pair of quality strings. which incedently had a nick in the high E as well. but after 2 months of hard playimg hasnt snapped n still sound crisp n clear. bottom line i had the worst experiance ever with these DR strings andwill never buy a pack again. but thats me and my experiance. good luck with yours...
