No, not lots of headaches. I have had one, continuous, soul-sucking headache that never goes away. It goes up and down and sometimes pretends it's going to go away but then PSYCHE! It's back! Early on a friend who has had the same issue suggested an ice cap. I really didn't want to pay $45 for it, plus I hate being cold, plus the headaches were going to go away any time (my doctor kept telling me). When we hit the one year mark of happy headache, I decided to pick one up. So glad I did! It gives me instant relief that lasts about 20 min (the cold). If I need to take something for the pain, it calms it down so the medication can work. I liked it so much I bought a second one to keep at work. When I want to go "full dork mode" I even wear it in front of my students. No, it isn't the most fashionable accessory in the world, but the ice pack kept slipping off my head while I lectured.
