However, I became aware of this 'standard' version that was more reasonably priced and practical to purchase. This edition is about the same as the premium edition, but lacks the incredible graphics standards of that book. Okay, I won't be tempted to remove and frame the graphics. On the other hand, for the aviation buff, like myself, this book is really a terrific book. The combination of the major airlines, the evolution of graphic changes and posters and other memorabilia reproduced here is just too awesome. This is a great book to look through, read and absorb. Aviation fans and people with an interest in graphics will love this book. It is just really cool. Sure, the book ignores the last 40 odd years, but what is interesting is how much of the corporate identities we see today on the major airlines have not really changed much over the last decades.
