No, you must use a beverage with natural or added sugar in order for the slushie maker cup to work properly. Sugar-free and artificially-sweetened drinks do not work well with the slushy cup because they freeze too hard to easily scrape the slush.

Try homemade juice, chocolate milk, sweetened coffee, soda, yogurt smoothies, energy shakes, and more. Diet beverages and sugar-free drinks will freeze too hard to scrape.
