Fits both on left and right handed doors. Drop-in replacement into 2 1/8” door holes. MUTEX Security believes your security is our #1 priority, and MUTEX MX920 locks are designed to keep your things safe and intruders out. This lock is often used on covered outdoor gates to deter intruders from accessing your property, by reaching through the top or side and turning the handle to get inside, by requiring a code on either side to be able to turn the handle. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Annoying to change combination, but best value for dual side combo functionality.

For the price and functionality (combo lock from both sides) this is the best deal I have found. To set the combination, you need to remove the back plate, by removing two philips screws. The instructions indicate that you should remove all pieces and insert for the combo. You really only need to change those that are different. The springs are a bit of a pain to get back together. I turn the knob a little, which locks in the inserts in place. This allows you to put the lock into the back plate with springs. It still took a try or two to get all springs level. The only other weird thing is that the handle is as small as it looks and turns. It was small enough that I thought maybe you pulled it. Edit: Warning to someone buying this to put into a door that already has a standard knob. THIS WILL NOT COVER THE HOLE. It also does not ship with a big enough rubber backer to cover the hole. This would be a fairly cheap addition. I needed to design and 3D print a cover for this.
