I decided to do a podcast and after doing a little research, I found that a dynamic mic would be the best microphone for me to use. Well, almost every review I saw, recommended this microphone. After purchasing it and getting it home to use, I see why. This microphone is a simple plug and play. It is top-notch quality at a very good price. You simply can't go wrong if you choose it. I highly recommend this audio-technica.

If you're thinking of streaming and just want a good quality sounding microphone without necessarily wanting XLR (using instead the USB connection) or the top of the line $150+ mics, this is the mic for you. I plan on using this for streaming and have already used it in Discord chat rooms. It sounds great even through USB and it is MILES beyond any built-in mics or webcam mics.

Works great. You need to speak close and "down" into this cardoriod microphone. I don't think you can do much better at this price point. It has served me well for the Agile Thoughts podcast. After some time I plan to buy something that absorbs more of the character of my voice, and such a microphone, I fear will cost at least twice or three times this one. I've no regrets as this mic fit the bill very nicely while I got my podcast and business up and running.

Product is OK for the money. It's a dynamic mic, so you have to be right on top of it to get the best sound. I think the Yeti Blue mic has a noticeably better sound for just a little more money. The Yeti is a condenser style mic, so it will pick up more background sounds than the Audi-Technica. The bottom line is you have to decide what you are willing to trade off to do what you want to do.

The quality is great. I have phantom power through my mixer board so i didnt have to get one. It is too thin to fit into my boom arm. So i have to put a couple of board game boxes under it to get the best hight for picking up my voice at a good volume. I bought this because i needed a dynamic mic and it is just the best.

This microphone was a really good choice for me. I needed a directional microphone because I have a very loud child, and it doesn't seem to pick him up when I am streaming and doing other tasks. I paired it with a mixer to get its full potential out of it, but it has a fantastic clarity and I would suggest for anyone who is in need of a professional microphone.

Works great, but it’s missing the pop filter in the picture. The picture is misleading. Also, the stand is just okay. It’s not great ergonomically, but you can record audio even in a noisey environment without it picking up all that background noise.
