How do you get it to stop leaking at the back of the hippo (water input)? the brass connection is not barbed & leaks terribly even w/hose clamp!

Get the kind of hose clamp that you need pliers to put on, mine leaked also until I used them.

Will this work with an inground swimming pool?

Hannah sits on the edge of my pond, it has a tube that runs from the back of the feature to the pump as the pump goes in the water. You need a place to plug in the pump but the tubing you can determine the length. So I see no reason why it would not work with an in ground swimming pool except you will see the pump and tubing easier. My pond liner is black and so is the tubing and the pump.

I need some advice. My hippo is spitting into the pond but a little bit of water is dribbling down the front and loosing water.

Dear Philip, Without pictures it is hard for us to give you a diagnostic answer, but all we can surmise is that the resin around the exit hole for the mouth may be catching the water flow as it is pumped out and allowing the water to slightly drip. We suggest you check this and maybe lightly sand or use a Dremel tool to take back the excess resin if this is truly the issue.
