cancelled because words sand timer. Looking for timer that ticks faster when time limit almost up. Is this the type of timer it has?

It has a ticking timer, but I don't believe it speeds up as it nears the end. It is not a sand timer.

I think it's rated for 8+.. Barbara J., Customer Service Mgr., Little Folks Book and Toy Company

I bought this game years ago. The cultural references are now very outdated and can't be played with younger people. Is this version more up to date?

I believe it is more up to date. I play it with my 16 and 12 year olds. The 12 year old has a tough time with some of the phrases but it's still fun.
