I really like it so far. It's been stuck to the clean acrylic tub wall for about 2 months now, holding a handheld ~1.7# showerhead almost constantly, removing and replacing the *showerhead* a few times a week. We don't move the product itself whatsoever, so we haven't had to use the adhesive circle that comes with it for added strength. I appreciate the quick install without having to do anything permanent or severe to my shower. Yes it's plastic, so I was very gentle when installing without incident. The metallic coating makes it appear like a higher quality product. It's a balancing act: you want a material to be light enough to stick to the wall, soft enough to not scratch your showerhead, but durable enough to hold the pivoting joint in place. It does the first two well. I'm nervous to crank it tight for a different angle, but have no reason to: we need the angle that points the showerhead as far down as possible, so I leave the joint comfortably tight and gravity keeps it where we need it. If I were to tilt the showerhead up a bit, I'd need to tighten it more to hold that position; not something I'm willing to do. To improve the product, the durability of the tightening area should be improved so it can hold other angles without fear of breaking.

You must clean your smooth surface (shower wall) I used vinegar on a rag) . When you place it you will pull back the lever so far it seems like it will break but it will snap into place which pulls the suction rubber pad tight and creates a strong hold. I’ve read reviews and instructions that say it must be a non porous surface, not tile or textured plastic. You must get that tight snap. It is not designed to just press on and Stick by itself, you must pull the handle down. When I don’t like is that I cannot maneuver the head once it’s in the holder to make it higher or lower, but I can turn the base to the left or right. But the greatest thing of all is that I’m able to take my hose down and use it without having to risk falling because I’m on my toes in the shower. So if you’re short, this is a godsend.☺️

I have three showers, and when I replaced my shower head with a handheld, I needed something to hold the shower head in an accessible spot (my showers were made for giants and I swear with the handheld the shower was eight feet high). This worked great, and a few months later I bought a double pack for my other two bathrooms. The double pack set was different from the first holder I got. It did not come with any instructions so I wasn’t sure what the little circle sticky pad was supposed to be used for (maybe if you have it on a rough surface, or the drywall?) since I don’t recall the other one having it. When I installed the first one, it fell off after a day, but I thought that maybe it was because I didn’t clean off the site really well at first. So I cleaned it and stuck it back on the shower wall. It fell off again, so I thought, well, maybe the circle pad thing is meant to be on there. After sticking it on, the holder has stayed on the shower wall for the last three days without falling off and I felt confident enough to install the last one. I took off a star because they really need to include instructions so you know what to do, especially if it isn’t obvious.

I like the holder. Unfortunately, it falls off the shower wall about once every month. At night it's annoying as the dog starts barking.

Easy to install, looks good, and does what it is supposed to do. If you have a hose holder for any shower attachment whose holder keeps falling off the wall because the securing tape can't support its weight, this is definitely a choice to consider. It was inexpensive, came with an additional piece in case the suction cup alone could not support the shower attachment (it does on its own), and it holds it out nicely away from the shower wall. An excellent product that met my needs.

We have purchased several of these so that there is one in every shower. The suction holds well on smooth tile for a long time. My dad stays with us sometimes & uses a shower chair. This puts the shower head within his reach. It is also great when we are washing the dogs!

works well. Adheres to shower wall well. Not that the shower handle socket is a rather small diameter so a standard handle doesn't seat well into the socket.

This product is very good. We used it to lower our showerhead so our 5 year old can use it. It has great suction, very sturdy and easy to use. We liked it so much we bought one for grandma to use when she needs to sit down and shower.

It's holding up well. I normally don't trust or in favour of suction but this time, my renovated bath, i didn't feel like drilling. Worked for me.

I’ve had this for 6 months now and I love it. I don’t wash my hair every time I shower so I got this to be able to move my shower head a little lower on those no-wash days. It’s perfect! It’s made of plastic but sturdy quality. It fell off the wall once because I installed it upside down, since I flipped it, it hasn’t fallen in nearly 6 months. Would highly recommend!

This does the job of holding my portal shower extension; however, the holder has a limited range of movement. If you need to aim the shower stream lower, you can't. For the price, I hoped for more.

Works really well on glass or flat tiles, perfect for what we wanted. Won't stick to anything uneven or textured.
