what are the dimensions and rules for play?

Hi, The game board is approximately 21" x 11.5". The game also includes detailed rules for play. To start, players pick one or more race horses and assign the horse number(s) to their name on the included scoreboard. Then players alternate rolling the included dice, and the total value of the dice roll dictates which horse moves forward on the board for that roll. The game board is designed so that each horse has the same probability of winning based on the odds of rolling 2 dice. Players can also heighten the excitement by 'betting' on their favorite horse to win the race. Play continues until there is a Win / Place / Show (1st / 2nd / 3rd). Very good party game. Especially if you add real money to the mix. In the long run its worth 40 bucks.
