It's on the thicker side so better suited for nighttimes, which i would only use retinol product at night anyway. It does absorb well though, i prefer richer eye creams to lighter products i use on my face and this is the right consistency for me. My main issues are freckle clusters under my eyes that make it look like i have dark circles when i don't, also saggy eyelids but that's a faulty collagen issue rather than age, i'm 41. I think i have noticed lightening of the freckles but hard to say for sure while we are still in summer, i will be continuing to repurchase other winter so i can give it a proper chance.
