INDIA TREE Demerara Sugar, 16 OZ

Great product to make Demerara syrup. It helps make a great Old Fashioned.

Very good tasting sugar . I use it in my coffee and any other beverage that needs sweetening

Opening the bag, you can smell the rich molasses of this less-processed, high quality sugar. We use it on things like yogurt with berries, where you can really taste the difference between Demerara and white sugar… and for baked goods like peanut butter cookies, and Satay peanut chicken and other delicious recipes. We don’t use it carelessly, since it’s more expensive than most, but we cherish this special sugar!

The sugar is good...used to be on sale locally but haven't seen it, so ordered from Amazon. It is in the cellophane bag that one would see on the market shelf. For shipping, someone threw this into a thin plastic Amazon bag. In the process of delivery, there was nothing to protect the cellophane bag from being smashed to bits. The sugar arrived spilled out into the main Amazon bag, with the original cellophane bag crushed. Hope that Amazon bag was clean! So good product, but would never order such from Amazon again.

This sugar is great as a topping for most baled goods. The quality is unmatchable. All India Tree sugars are excellent.

Great flavor, but a bit too expensive on Amazon! Amazingly enough, and I know this is owned by Amazon also, but I found I could pick this up much more quickly at Whole Foods, and for a lot less. Regardless, the flavor is perfect and goes great with a good bourbon in an Old Fashioned

I really love this sugar! This is my second bag of it. It tastes really good in coffee and tea. This is all that I buy now just for that. I did try some in my oatmeal once and it was great. But normally I use honey in my hot cereals. I just had to try it though. Anyway I give this 10 thumbs up. Highly recommend! Arrived on time and as described.

Fancy sugar for fancy baking. I'm sure I don't NEED this, but it's such a nice little luxury to have and really elevates your home baking projects. I easily justify the price of finer flours, vanillas, chocolates and sugars by comparing what I would pay for better baked goods from a shop to what I can whip up at home. When you start with better ingredients you just get a much better result, and still at a fraction of what you'd pay at a local bakery. And this baking sugar is really lovely as a finishing sugar with a richer and more exotic flavor than you might expect.
