I did not have any of the extra flashing that some people reported having to trim. Just make sure the existing insulation is removed from the factory light, also remove the white tape protector from the new light before inserting it. I did notice that the steel mounting assembly was slightly different, I also need to remove the two retaining nuts from my old light to install on this one. The whole process took about 10 minutes, from removing the truck panel, removing/installing the new light, and reinstalling the panel. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐ Looks good after going under the knife *by E***R on Reviewed in the United States on May 12, 2017* Dont be afraid of the excess plastic that needs to be trimmed. I had to take an exact knife around the seam where the white meets the red around the full perimeter. I had to push the seal out of the way ot see the high spots I missed- take your time and test fit as you go. Its an easy fix and for 50 bucks its worth the cleanup work. The light fits and looks good, I docked one star because for $90 you shouldn't have to carve a new part. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ This is easy to replace *by L***R on Reviewed in the United States on July 25, 2017* This part fits a my 2008 CLK 350 cabriolet . The Part # is 1 digit off from original part number but the light fits perfectly. Dealer wanted around $200 for this part alone. This is easy to replace, just remove inner truck panel held on with the push pin rivets and unplug the connector and remove the two nuts.
