Is this an authentic Cross pen?

I purchased this a while ago and yes it’s authentic!

Is this directly sold from Cross--or the manufacturing company?

It is from Amazon store. Even if sold from a different company Cross will always guarantee it's pens

Does this pen really come with a solid 18k gold/rhodium plated nib? I checked Cross' website & other sources that say the nib is stainless steel.

No, the nib is not gold - it is steel. Had the nib been gold, it would have added at least $100 to the price of the pen. (Although the nib is steel, it writes quite smoothly and with a bit pf feedback.) The true joy of this pen is its design.
