Great for killing time, if time existed Review: Great puzzle for anyone! - I had the original and had forgotten about it for years, but started playing it again recently. With any version of these part of the challenge is learning when to go fast and when to go slow and tilting your best angles. These weren't made to be easy. They're meant to be challenging! People who say in their reviews the puzzles cannot be done are incorrect and evidently lack patience. If you have no patience this is probably not a good choice unless you're buying it to try to learn some patience. Concentration is more important than dexterity imo... On the original, I had the hardest time going from 30-31. Took practice. Now it's super easy on that part. I had to keep trying over and over. Some of this is rote...you will memorize movements and breeze through parts. So if you're having a hard time watch a how to video or just keep trying. There are easy paths and some very tedious paths. You'll eventually get it. Quality. Well it looks beautiful. It is larger than the original which is now called the Beast. It has a very clear plastic outer shell with no branding written on it like the original...that got in the way sometimes. BUT I can tell the outer shell is NOT as thick or sturdy as the 2009 one. I'm an adult so I don't see it being a problem but I like the quality feel of the older one a lot better. NOTE: don't throw away your stand. There is a flimsy little stand inside the bottom part of the packaging.
