It's sturdy and stable enough for that, and perhaps for mature photography. A definite bonus that the tripod comes with different parts to place your phone on the tripod and a Bluetooth button that you can connect toy your phone and take photos of yourself with friends in family. Very useful little gadget. It also comes with an integrated level, so that you are certain your camera/phone etc is leveled. The tripod also comes in a nice bag, allowing you to store or travel with the tripod stand. It's versatile as there are 4 points of adjustment height, 3 on the legs plus one on the main stem.
