what is the difference between Hydro "Ban" and Hydro "Barrier"?

Laticrete Hydro Barrier varies from our flagship product, HydroBan, as follows:

Allows for flood tested in 24 hours at 70ºF (21ºC) or above
Requires the use of fabric in the coves, corner, and changes of plane and around drains for waterproofing only; (it is not required for anti-fracture applications)
Backed by the Laticrete 5 Year System warranty 
Changes from a light blue to a darker blue when cured
Allows for foot traffic in 4 to 6 hours @ 70°F (21°C) 50% RH

how much do i need for floor and shower walls  appx 110 sq ft?

my shower was 2 walls, 3ftx8ft and a 3x3ft floor. Total would be 58 sq ft.  I had enough for two full coats and some left over.  And I was generous with the material...laid it on nice and thick.  I would suggest, start low and cover as high as you can just in case you ran out, but anything above about 4ft does not need to waterproofed....just a nice to do.  DR

Can this be used as a caulk around plastic and porslin ?

No this is not made for caulking.  Plastic is not a suitable substrate according to the manufacturers specifications.
