Foam Cure is a winner! Works on virtually any foam (Styrofoam, EPO, EPS, EPP, Depron, etc.). Bob Smith adhesives are first-rate and this slightly flexible Foam Cure adhesive works better than many other popular brands I have tried. For years, I have used Foam Cure primarily for building foam radio-controlled model airplanes. There are many types of glues commonly used on these foamies (epoxy, instant CA glues, Gorilla Glue, white glues, & others). There is also considerable debate over which foam adhesive works best. However, in my considerable experience (former engineer in the RC industry), none work better overall than Foam Cure. Nearly all foam materials are sensitive to the solvents often found in common adhesives (can dissolve the foam material). Also, typical instant CA glues (cyanoacrylate adhesives) generate considerable heat while curing. This catalytic reaction melts the foam, weakens the joint and it fails. This problem increases when CA accelerators are used. Therefore, special foam-safe CA adhesives & accelerators are required to avoid this problem. In contrast, Foam Cure chemistry is formulated specifically for foam and can be successfully used on virtually all common foam materials. Bob Smith Foam Cure is reasonably priced, the larger bottle & applicator tip are easy to use, and the adhesive has a long shelf-life if the bottle is properly capped. For best adhesion and faster curing, use Foam Cure like contact cement. Spread thinly and evenly on both surfaces, briefly join and pull apart for about 5 minutes and then rejoin. If an instant bond is required, parts can be held in place by applying a few additional spots of foam-safe instant CA glue. Foam Cure requires 12 hours to fully cure. It dries clear and remains slightly flexible for years. Check out this terrific adhesive for yourself. I'd bet using Foam Cure will put a smile on your face too.

Works perfect for foam board and Styrofoam. Easy to use and holds up, but it does need a good few hours to dry.

Very versatile. Has a longer set time so you can position the pieces just right. Clamping assures a much better bond. Thick, but not too thick. You have to use some patience for it to start to flow, then avoid putting too much on. Definitely will buy again.

This stuff works great!

Fairly new back into the hobby and saw your product among the many other foam-safe types of glue and had seen it on other sites, distributors, so gave it a shot! I've used it on a number of things as well as my model aircraft. Has worked well on the other things I've used it on. The thing is none of the other things have crashed, like my Plane! When I assembled the tail section, I had read that it would be good to Glue the Vert. Stab. which wasn't held very well with just screws. I put a bead of glue in the channel fitted the fin in, pulled it out let it work as recommended 2 or 3 times let it get tacky, and left it the final time to cure. I didn't put any pressure on it or checked it, not thinking it needed it. Some weeks later, flew and crashed the plane, brought it home, and started taking it apart, to keep the tail from being damaged while working on the nose of it. OH no, I remembered I had glued it and was wondering how difficult it, if at all, would be to remove the Vert. Stab. from the Fus. having seen it being flexible/pliable on other items. But to my surprise when I removed the screws from the tail, the Vert. Stab. just pulled right out with little effort When I looked closer to where there was some residue it was brittle and crumbled in my fingers. Does that sound normal, I was planning to use it to repair the broken foam damage with it now I'm wondering if it is capable? Let me know what you think.!

Works very well for my foam R/C aircraft repairs. Good alternative to Foam Tac, which has gotten outrageously expensive and dries in the bottle.

Great to have when assembling foam planes

I rarely ever leave reviews because it’s just too many things to leave View on, but this glue is absolutely the best most fantastic craft glue I have ever used. I’m so glad I finally found it. It’s hard to find a glue for phone so anyway it’s wonderful thank you so much for me finding it

Great stuff

After our local hobby store stopped selling this glue, I found it on Amazon. I used this glue to put together my DIY 4 foot wingspan DHC Beaver. I've used many glues in the past, but this glue is my favorite. I don't know how I managed building planes without it in the past. It's a must for anyone working with hobby foam!
