You do need to bear in mind that it is not lightweight - as a 5ft 6in woman in her 60s I managed ok, but I needed to take frequent breaks to ease my aching shoulders! Review: light and handy - This trimmer is literally half the weight of my old corded trimmer, it is easy to use and has a good battery life. the only issue I would have is that the trimmer head cannot be used without the pole, but as it is lightweight it isn't really that much of a problem. The fact that the cutting head angle is adjustable is very handy. I would have preferred a lever type trigger rather than the push button which is a little awkward to get used to, guess that will improve with use.
