Bed Boost Mattress Support - Fast Fix for a Sagging Mattress

I didn't think these would work, but it was worth a try as a new mattress costs so much. They don't just work - they work GREAT. First night my husband slept on the bed with the bed boost in place and he says he slept better than he had in a long time. He's 330 lbs so he's a big man. The mattress sagged about 6 months after we bought it. But now, thanks to this product, it's like owning a new mattress - at a fraction of the actual cost. I haven't used mine yet. Waiting to see if my side will also eventually sag. I would definitely recommend trying this. One tip: Pump it up as much as you think you need, then lift the mattress and put it underneath. It's quite hard to pump it up once the mattress is on top of it. We have a Serta and it's quite heavy. Then if it's too hard/high just press the sides of the tube together at the input valve and it blows down until you have the height you want. Easy.

Unfortunately, I didn't really consider the physics of how this mattress support "cushion" could possibly be fully adjustable and still provide proper back support. I was very excited initially, because when fully inflated it did indeed fix the sag in my mattress (in fact, I over-inflated it a bit and I rolled off of the highest part in my sleep.) Over the course of the next few nights, I gradually let air out, but could never get completely comfortable and I wasn't sure why at first. Then I realized what the problem was: this is a very wide cushion filled with air, but I am not particularly wide myself. As I let air out and then lay down on my mattress, the air pushed to the sides, and the middle (where I most needed support) gave way. Because I often end up sleeping on my stomach, my torso sank lower than my legs and I woke with horrible lower back pain. Unless the sag in your mattress exactly matches the size of this cushion when FULLY inflated, I think many people will find themselves as uncomfortable as before, if not more so. Since then I gathered up some old towels and very loosely rolled them into the shape I needed, then placed them under my mattress in lieu of this product. So far this has been a better solution for me and it didn't cost anything. I also think that one could achieve good results with an unneeded sheet, a fairly flat pillow, or a cut-up foam mattress pad (if any of these things happen to be around the house) . If none of those things are convenient, I'd probably try the No Sags - Sagging Mattress Fix (Posture Zone 1") as the padding appears more substantial and you can purchase different sizes, as well as lay them in different configurations. Sleep well, folks.

I never thought it work as well as it does. However, keep in mind there is a trial and error process to get it perfectly dialed in. You need to figure out the precise inflation amount. Surprisingly, it doesn't need a whole lot of air in it to compensate for even a very saggy mattress. Once you figure out the precise air pressure and the best place to put it (I put it in the exact center of a queen mattress and it worked fine) you are good to go. The only complaint I have is that the air hose can sometimes get kinked if you aren't careful with it. The hose doesn't seem to be particularly durable, so it might get damaged if you have to unkink it several times. The actual bag itself seems very durable and does not leak at all.

it is a great product but it did not work for me . it felt like I was sitting on a ball under mattress it is a good product but I tried troubleshooting and reducing the air but it did not help that feeling of a bubble. it would have been better if there was a quilted type or a waffle like . I tried ehob waffle and that solved the problem for me

The key is to barely fill them! Just a tiny amount of air can make a big difference. Overfilled can feel like a beach ball is under the mattress. I gradly let out a little bit of air each night until I got it right. I do wish these were twice the size, for a more even, larger area fill

A few years ago we flipped our mattress & I ended up with the dip that was previously on my husband's side of the bed and a back ache that lasted for months. I built the dip up with towels between the mattress and box spring, which helped until recently so I hit the internet to see if anything was out there that could help level the mattress and ended up reading reviews on the Bed Boost. Received my mattress support yesterday & used it last night for the first time. Having the extra support the Bed Boost provides was perfect. Instead of tossing and turning to try to get comfortable or being tense in order to compensate for a less than flat surface, I was able to lay and sleep. The only times I moved was when I felt like changing positions and as a result I slept deeper than I have in forever. This morning my back is still tender from being out of whack for weeks but it feels like it is on the mend and most importantly, something new isn't aching or sore. If the Bed Boost continues to work the way it did last night, I will wait to purchase a new mattress. Soo happy I found this little gem. A few things to note: -Do not leave the pump connected - Hoped I could leave it connected for a few hours in order to easily adjust the air pressure but the air just leaks out. It was worth a try though. -Do not over inflate!!! Cannot stress this enough.

It does raise the depress mattress, but the air pocket shifts around as you sleep on the mattress. This makes it uncomfortable to use!

I've used this cushion for a few nights and it has given my mattress firmness. I now wake up without lower back pain. You don't need to pump it with much air to get results. I filled it way too much at first and it caused me to roll to the side. I deflated it quite a bit and I had to keep testing it, but in the end I got it comfortable and firm enough for my lower back. I wish the cushion was a little longer for my queen mattress, but I'll just have to buy a second one. I know it sounds like it wouldn't be worth it, but if your current mattress is giving you back pain, this is worth the purchase. I would recommend getting 2 of them for a queen.

If you're hesitating because of your size and doubting whether it will last, don't, believe me. My last weigh in was 26st and I bought this back in August. It's kept my mattress firm and I don't have to worry about buying a new one for now. The pump you get with it isn't great so I would recommend using your own or if like me you don't have one, by mouth. 😂 10/10 and would recommend to everyone

It certainly lifts the sagging area of the mattress. A bit hard to adjust to get the right pressure in it. The supplied pumps don't work well. I used a small portable air compressor to inflate them.

Idiot that I am, bought 2! Bloody useless as both pumps don't work....Grrr I would have been better off buying a bit of memory foam

Pump was useless my partner had to blow it up himself , pillow was ok did as requested

The inflatable itself does make a huge difference to a saggy mattress, you just have some trial and error getting it inflated at the right level. As others mentioned the pump they supply you with is totally useless and broke on the first pump... so make sure you have your own pump!
