## Overview

The Strato Kneeboard is a compact, feature-rich solution designed for pilots navigating tight cockpit spaces. Made from durable ballistic nylon and equipped with a polypropylene clipboard, it ensures your essentials are secure and accessible. With a 90-day manufacturer's warranty, this kneeboard is built to last, making it the perfect companion for any aviator.

## Description

The Sky High Strato Kneeboard is small and compact, but full of features. It is the first to incorporate Air Lift pillows of foam and sandwich mesh to allow your leg to breath and for added comfort. It also includes a full 360 degree vented leg elastic to ensure that the kneeboard stays where you put it when you fly. The kneeboard 6-ring Tab and G-Force Strap can be removed or placed on either side to fit the way you organize your flying or if you are left or right handed. Pens, pencils, and flashlights are all angled away from the controls to provide the clearance you need. When done flying, the Strato can be neatly folded to the back and clipped together to store in your flight bag. Made of Ballistic Nylon with a Polypropylene clipboard inserted, this kneeboard will last for years to come.

Review: Compact kneeboard with good design features. - What a great value little kneeboard. It offers something with a bit more flexibility then conventional IFR/VFR kneeboards but not all the bells and whistles of some of the larger offerings, which resemble an office on your thigh! This kneeboard allows me to keep key information to hand without interfering with flight deck ergonomics - which is as it should be. I was impressed by the build quality. Be aware that this kneeboard is small (5in x 7in), and so you'll need to consider the volume of information you carry carefully - hopefully this will mean that you stick to the essentials! It is comfortable to wear and the storage clips which scoop all the other straps together onto the back work well. The ripstop nylon is heavy duty and the G-strap and ring-holder can be positioned to the left or the right. It fits nicely in my flight bag and is well suited to a cramped flight deck. The buckles are one-finger release, a feature which makes me feel very comfortable should I need to remove it quickly. Negatives? Will the angled pen/torch holders are a good size for a maglite or large-diameter marker but a little large to hold a normal diameter pen or pencil barrel as securely as I'd like. Also the clipboard clip is supplied with plastic snap-on corners. Both these features are a loose-article threat and I'd have liked to see an aviation supplier considering this. Remove the plastic corners on the clipboard clip! There are two smaller pen-holders on the side but they're not as convenient as the larger angles ones. The clear G-strap was marked with dye from the material when it arrived, I can't remove it and that detracts somewhat from the appearance.
Review: Student Pilot- tried the trifold and others but like this one best - As a Student VFR pilot I was exposed to many kneeboards and didn't like any of them. My brother is currently suggested this one and so I went ahead and bought it. I can say I've had flights with the trifold, the $9 basic vfr board, and even the $100+ 'mil-spec' board with a light built in and I can say that this is the best one I have used so far. Its cheap enough so when it wears out I can buy another (because things get old and break) and yet its versitle and compact. I use the clear plastic strap the most however its nice to have written notes for training on the clip board and a spare expo and pencil on the side. With some of my own personal checklists I can clip them into the holes on the left side or I can just take it off if it really gets annoying. As I gain more experience with VFR I'll probably just use the clear plastic strap for the approach plates "book" they have me use around here, however this board gives me the versatility to adapt to what I need for each unique flight. Great kneeboard, buy it if you a student pilot.

### ⭐⭐ Very Unimpressed. Returned It
*by M***D on May 10, 2019*

It's too small to be useful, the velcro is so weak the pieces keep falling off and the buck for the leg strap is very inconveniently located and hard to unbuckle.
