Songbird

What can be said regarding Barbra's amazing voice and talent. Over the years she has demonstrated her talent vocally and the ultimate artist. Her voice will go down as one of our generations best for sure! She sings from the heart with clear beauty! There are so many songs over the years that she has sung which she interprets with clarity, richness and vocal strength-that make her at the top of her talent!

Had the sheetmusic book when this came out. Still use it with my vocal students today. What better way to learn than from listening to the best. Amazing voice, amazing lyrics. Worth the money if you are a nightclub pop person.

This was one of the few CDs. I hadn’t purchased in the past. It adds to my almost complete collection. And I’m glad I bought it.

A beautifully romantic CD. I remember when the title song was climbing the charts only to be pulled in favor of promoting "The Eyes of Laura Mars" which was tied into the movie of the same name. However, "Songbird" is by far the better of the two and I've always been disappointed the she has never sung during one of her concerts, maybe this year.

I've been a Barbra Streisand fan since my high school days. There is just something very special about her voice, and I prefer her earlier albums/CDs, and I have been collecting her music again in CD form, as I owned the same versions in vinyl in the 1980s. In her younger years, Barbra seemed to take more musical risks -- risks that clearly worked, and she created thrilling and beautiful music. These belong to the American cannon of our national music.

It is exactly as expected.

I had this as an album when it first came out & I played it over & over then & there are certain songs that I am enjoying all over again. Songbird is by far my favorite song on here but is followed by "Honey, can I put on your clothes?" in a close second. This is classic early Streisand, rich, emotional, resonating.

Barbra Streisand is an icon. This album, originally released in 1978 captures Streisand at the height of her powers. A beautiful collection of contemporary songs including her original solo version of "You Don't Bring Me Flowers"- later that year Neil Diamond's vocal was added and their "duet" became an international hit. The quality of material is excellent throughout and the sound quality is superb. Buy it!

I love the CD. of course I am a devoted fan of Barbra Streisand and enjoy her music. The CD arrived as promised and with no damage. I am always pleased with items I have purchased through your company.

My Heart Belongs To Me♪（愛はわが胸に♪）も大ヒット！！ You Don't Bring Me Flowers♪ Neil Diamond♪と、あのThe Way We Were♪（追憶♪）のコンビであるAlan & Marilyn Bergman♪の共作であるこの楽曲が！！ ！ ！Barbra Streisand♪！！ ！！
