I bought it when I first started smoking pipe tobacco and didn't really know how to pack and light a pipe very well and it has stood up to all the abuse and still looks new and the inside of the bowl shows no signs of burnout or any damage. It is easy to pack, keep lot, and relatively easy to clean. I say relatively easy only because a pipe cleaner will not pass completely through the stem to the bowl which is my only complaint about this pipe and the only reason for four stars instead of five. Some people look down on a Dr. Grabow pipe because they perceive them as cheap garbage but don't listen to them. I own a couple high dollar Savinelli's and Butz-Choquin briars that I love, but I reach for my Dr. Grabow Savoy just as often as those because it smokes just as good. I also don't bother using the filters, I did when I first started smoking but soon abandoned them because they just funk up your pipe and don't add anything to the experience in my opinion. So in summary, I can't really think of a better pipe for the money...unless you look into Morgan Bones ;) Review: A delightful small bent pipe - This pipe is an excellent briarwood pipe for the money. It is small, let that be duly noted. The OD circumference of the bowl is small, I’m 5’7”, and i almost dwarf it. If you’re a big guy, it will more than likely feel like a child’s toy in your hand. There is no metal band/spacer. The reason I love this little pipe, is for my size, it’s the most perfect driving and clenching bent pipe I have now. And it’s perfect for a quick 10 minute smoke if you pack it light. Also, for the size, it has a relatively cool smoke, and I’ve only smoked two bowls so far. A Cherry cavendish, and a Bullseye roll, the roll was the ten minute session, and it was delicious 🤤 The Cherry Cavendish was also a treat, the cherry really came through on a brand new pipe, although being the first smoke , it was a tiny bit hot. But we smoke pipes with patience. ## Features - Brand new - Made of briar - Made in United States - Comes in blister pack - Great gift ## Technical Specifications | Specification | Value | |---------------|-------| | ASIN | B005CC4GX8 | | Best Sellers Rank | #124,144 in Health & Household ( See Top 100 in Health & Household ) #120 in Tobacco Pipes | | Brand | Dr. Grabow | | Chamber Depth | 38.1 millimeters | | Color | Brown | | Customer Reviews | 4.2 out of 5 stars 312 Reviews | | Exterior Finish | Smooth | | Item Shape | Billiard | | Item Weight | 1.2 ounces | | Manufacturer | Dr Grabow | | Material | Briar | | Model Number | Savoy Smooth | | Number of Items | 1 | | Number of Packs | 1 | | Part Number | Savoy Smooth | | Shape | Billiard | | Stem Material | Rubber | | Unit Count | 1 Count | ## Product Details - **Brand:** Dr. Grabow - **Color:** Brown - **Item Weight:** 1.2 ounces - **Material:** Briar - **Stem Material:** Rubber ## Images ![Dr Grabow Savoy Smooth Tobacco Pipe - Image 1](https://m.media-amazon.com/images/I/61nxpDSEn9L.jpg) ## Customer Reviews ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Fantastic pipe for the money *by B***N on February 15, 2020* I've owned and used this Dr. Grabow pipe now for over 4 years and it is a great smoking pipe, especially for the money.
