His car already had HIDs so it was a perfect swap over. You do need to use the HID ballast from the stock headlights on these which was easy to take off and install on the new housings. Came with all the other headlights except the HIDs that you can install from the stock ones. The only thing that took a while for us to figure out was adjusting the headlights. You had to turn the adjuster almost 3 whole turns to notice any movement, so you really have to crank it for a while to adjust the low beams up or down. All other adjusters moved pretty easily.
