Brought these along with me on a hunting trip in Idaho. They made fire starting so easy and fast. I used them for 10 days straight. Got stuck in some really nasty weather and needed to stat a warming fire in an area completely covered in snow. If not for a good fire starter I would not have been able to get the wet wood to light. Theses are worth every penny!

Less firestarter substance so flame is smaller than another brand so less of a value than i was expecting as i have to use two over just one. Works great otherwise.

These fire starters worked great when starting a fire in my wood stove. I would put the packet on a dry piece of hem-fir dimensional lumber with kindling built up around and on the hem-fir. This method using these fire starters worked great creating a nice wood coal bed to put my seasoned oak firewood on. I would recommend these fire starters.

Not as easy to start as other fire starters, and they don't last very long, maybe a minute. In a pinch they'll work, but they won't be repurchased.

I live in a cabin in Colorado at 9000 ft and use wood every night throughout winter. These fire starters work just as good, if not better than the Weber charcoal grill fire starters, these are much, much cheaper! I highly recommend them!

I purchased the DDY Quick Fire Starters in an effort to speed up the time between building a fire in our woodstove and when the stove is up to temperature. At first I was using several sticks of kindling to start the stove, but discovered I could just as quickly get a good fire by just using one packet and well seasoned Douglas Fir firewood. No more buckets of kindling needed to start fires in our woodstove.

They work really well in starting fires.
