Soudal Sealant Remover - 400ml

I haven’t even tried the product yet. It is supposed to come with a ‘straw’ to fit in the nozzle to control the spray but it didn’t have one. I’m now concerned about overspray. I have noticed that I’m not the only customer that had this problem, the person in that review returned the product, you would think that the initial supplier would check to make sure it doesn’t happen again! EDIT! Never mind the missing straw, this product is amazing! I scraped off the excess sealant then sprayed it with the Soudal sealant remover, left it for a few minutes, then a gentle scrape and a wipe - no sealant and as clean as a whistle. Definitely recommend it!

Did exactly what it says. Made removing the remnants of old sealant really well.

Used this to remove old sealant in a shower cubicle. it was easy, quick and free of mess. The product is quick and easy to apply and dissolves old sealant in half an hour. It is then possible to wipe off with paper towel, clean and apply new sealant.

Where has this been all my life? It comes with a regular spray nozzle and one attached to a thin straw that is VERY EASY to apply with. The straw nozzle also has a handy little area in the lid that it sits in and and the straw clips to for easy storage, no more losing the straw! I was worried that it would spray everywhere, but the stream is very localized and easy to keep where you want it with the straw nozzle. Not only does it remove silicone but it also removes any additional gunk and sticky residue from other things. There is a slight smell but it dissipates quickly and it's not overpowering at all. I was also worried that it would interfere with the application of new silicone but it didn't. I made sure to follow the instructions well and wipe the area really well to remove any remaining fluid and it's worked a treat. This is a must have around the house.

Whoever fitted my old shower screen used a lot of sealant and this product helped a bit, softening it up, but there was still a lot of scraping. Worth a go for sure but not instant.

Somehow I had managed to get bathroom silicone sealant, in several places on the tailgate of my brand new Toyota RAV4. 🤦 Being as I couldn't perform an outer body experience, so that I could kick my own arse for being so clumsy. 👊😡 I purchased a tin of this product. It said on the tin apply the contaminated area with the spray and wait 5 minutes. I actually forgot about it, so the job got left for about 35 minutes, being as I had a coffee break. ☕ When I returned to the job I was able to completely wipe the silicone sealer off with one wipe of a sponge. PROPER amazing stuff! 😉👍 I read most of the reviews on here before I spent my hard earned on this stuff and I honestly cannot believe how anyone would give this product a naff review? 😲 Listen folks! Dont believe those people ok? Believe me! This kit is the real McCoy! 👌

The spray tip/nozzle was broken so it cannot be used at all. I Could only get few drops of the sealant remover out of it when holding upside down and pressing the tip for several seconds. I managed to replace the nozzle with the one that I know that works, but now it became apparent that there is no pressure in the can, so you have to squeeze it to get anything out. Ridiculous. Ok, did that, and applied on old silicon (very thin line) in the kitchen, gave it 10 minutes and it only worked on the bottom part of it, so still had to use a knife to get the silicon of the tiles. Extremely useless product. Money and time wasted here.

I ordered this product not knowing how effective it would be at helping me remove old silicone from around the shower. But to my amazement after following the instructions on the can, the job turned out to be a lot easier than i thought. No tough scraping to remove the silicone it came away so easy, and in comparison to other products that do the same job, you get far more product in this can for your money compared to other products which do the same job. Would buy this product again with no hesitation.

Doesn't really do much. You still have to physically remove the sealant after applying the chemical, which defeats the purpose of the product!

Hace su función rápidamente y ayuda mucho a retirar silicona. Igualmente su retirada es laboriosa pero con esto se hace más ameno. He probado varias marca y esta para mí es la mejor. Ganas en tiempo y en esfuerzo. Lo volvería a comprar seguro.
