Great product -- very quiet
Great product -- very quiet. Can barely hear it. As long as your application can handle a lower cfm rating, the silence is amazing. --update -- they were quiet as described for about 4 months. I have 3 in my switch -- all 3 started 'rattling' after about 4 months

Quietish but flawed
The fan blades are unbalanced, so while quieter than most fans, it adds a low pitched hum to the installed system, even using the rubber mounts.

Great Idea, just wished they would have explained that ...
When I first got the fan I hooked it up and it did not work. I was perplexed at how a brand new fan would not work straight out of the box. A quick call to Silenx tech support helped me out though. Maybe it will help others too. I explained to them my dilemma and they suggested that I press down on the fan blade to be sure it was seated properly. I thought "why not" so I did and it clicked into place. They explained to me that sometimes it happens that the fan gets dislocated during shipping and must be pressed back into position, It is designed that way so that you can remove the blade to clean and lubricate the fan in the future. Great Idea, just wished they would have explained that in the directions. Otherwise a good quiet fan that moves a lot of air!
