Trackmaster Thomas trains never failed us. They've actually gotten better over time, and I'd say these models are the prime stage.

Works fine. Doesn't fit the wooden tracks.
This doesn't fit the wooden tracks which is unfortunate since those are the tracks we have. However i looked around and don't think they make any that do. So I kept this and my kid still likes playing with it on the floor or on the parts of the wooden track where it does fit. (It can drive on the straight parts of the wooden tracks but is too big to handle curvy parts and doesn't fit inside bridges.)

we love thomas....
My grandson loves these books I got him for christmas. He loves to color and the pictures in the book to color are great. It's the first thing he goes to play with when he wakes up and the last thing before going to bed. I highly recommend for any thomas the train fans out there.
