What is the function of black clamp like thing on the tubing? I tried to clamp the tubing. But I could not do it using black clamp like thing.

When you pinch the loop part of the clamp it opens so that you can clip it to something like clothing or the bedsheets. Using this clamp can prevent less pulling on the catheter and less discomfort.
