I buy a lot of Minwax products but a 50-50 chance is not worth taking a chance. I will buy a different brand until they fix this, or go to a hardware. **Q: My pictures are backwards as well. Has anyone ordered them with it this way and gotten the wrong item?** A: Yes mine was backwards also. Amazon knows about this and has done nothing. I have used both of them and both are great but spray is to much. Good luck. **Q: can this product be used on pre-finished wood floors to seal them?** A: I really do not know the answer to this - I would imagine that you would have to sand the floor first to present a porous surface for the sealer to adhere to first - which I doubt you would want to do. In my project I sanded doors lightly that had been stained before I applied the sealer then I applied two coats of varnish over the top. **Q: Can you paint over it?** A: Assuming that the Minwax finish is not flaking or peeling,yes you can paint over it. It worked beautifully. It soaks into the MDF and then creates a buttery smooth surface when you sand it smooth with a 320 grit sandpaper (as the can recommends). It prevents the paint from soaking into the MDF to avoid any swelling.
